I agree with your comments on not going to games and adding to the revenue of these clubs changing kickoff times. i cant help thinking it is not just the local police but the clubs themselves suggesting it believing their is some advantage in it.
If fans really must go avoid totally any expenditure in the town. Take sandwiches,drinks etc, consume before the match then go straight home.
